In Grade 6 we have been studying portraiture, in particular Expressionist portraits. The students learnt about the meaning of colour and its connection to mood. My new class of grade 7 students have been working hard on their still life drawings. They had to explore composition, tone and colour. They look amazing displayed all together in the classroom, I love the bright colours. Well done grade 7.
These are the last ones. Scroll down to see the whole class. Overall I am very proud of my students. I believe they have learnt a huge amount about tone and Abstract Expressionism. Every student successfully met the task requirement. Well Done!
