Tints and Tones in Grade 6

The grade 6 students have jumped straight into painting. This particular task was a two lesson introduction to MONOCHROME painting skills, and SILHOUETTES. Q4 Grade 6

I love this introductory project because it is a very quick, easy and effective way to get to know my new class of art students. Welcome G6 Q3

Once again, we began with our digital sketchbook covers. The students took selfies from interesting angles using MovieFX, then they added the photo into Wordfoto. This allowed the students to enter words that described themselves and their interests. They then drew their names using  graffiti. All the images were merged together in Superimpose. I love how...
