Grade 6 Digital Meets Traditional

My new grade 6 class has just joined me in the art room. They are the last group to experience the studio for this year!

We began the course by creating graffiti names. I have to say they did a BRILLIANT job with this. Then they took selfies with the iPad, printed the photo out and played with paint, drawing, powders, and 3D materials. The only rule was it had to be a “creative mess but their faces had to be still partly recognizable”. Then the work was photographed again and manipulated with Snapseed. The final piece was printed A3 and framed. Some students chose to add their graffiti names on top whilst others stuck them into their books. What a brilliant start to the quarter. Well done grade 6!
