Remember the post from months ago where my art club figured out a way to make the bottle chandeliers? Well this journey still continues….
The chandeliers have been a real community effort because the staff, parents, ES,MS and HS students have helped by either collecting, painting or wiring hundreds of bottles.
They look absolutely brilliant. I have to say this is the most successful fail-proof community activity that I have initiated. Many of my students, parents and colleagues want to make their own for their homes. We currently have 22 stunning chandeliers hanging all around the school. I have three more to make tomorrow and then they are DONE. I really hope the GISS students and staff enjoy our decorations.
