For the first week back I decided to recap the work we did with Jennifer and recreate a major piece a little bigger than what they did before as it needed to be suitable for the exhibition. It really was amazing seeing the students work with so much freedom and confidence. It is a fabulous feeling knowing that you really can’t go wrong with your art. The Gesso acts like a glue, texture paste and paint. We had some new students who enjoyed exploring with the media and seeing what they could create. I will definitely explore this further in the future because it has so much potential. Thank you Jennifer Goss for the inspirational techniques.
