This is the last class to create their “hero” stencils. This project required them to create a grid drawing of their hero, then they learnt how to stylize the design and incorporate bridges so that their stencils were successful. Once the paper was cut they then had a lot of fun playing with colour and special effects using sponges, rollers and brushes. There are some stunning ones here. The motivation seems to be much higher as the students don’t want to offend their hero. 🙂
