The Memory Project is Progressing

The grade 8 students are creating portraits for the orphans at Beacon House. They will be producing a drawing, a painting and a collage. Their favourite piece will be chosen, a kind message will be written on the back and the students will give their portraits personally to the children. This will be a very special gift to remember forever and an experience my students will also remember forever.

For this project the students had a huge learning curve as none of them had done anything like this before so they were given some intense workshops to help build up their skills. They are really working hard. It really is heartwarming when you hear them refer to their child by name. Don’t forget you can click on the images to see them larger.
